Representatives of the Regional Development Agency Bačka participated in the SMART CSA project partner meeting, held on 22–23 June 2026 at the University of the Peloponnese in Kalamata, Greece.

The meeting brought together representatives of the partner organizations to exchange experiences, review the project’s progress to date, and plan the upcoming activities.

Development of Educational Content and Project Planning

During the first working day, partners discussed the development of educational content aimed at improving digital competences in the field of smart and sustainable agriculture, as well as the next steps in implementing the project’s planned activities.

Visit to the Katsou Organic Farm

On the second day, the partners visited the Katsou Organic Farm, a family-owned farm established in 1918 with a tradition spanning more than a century.

The visit provided an opportunity to learn about the organization of organic production, sustainable farming practices, and the hosts’ experience in applying environmentally friendly principles in their daily operations.

The study visit offered valuable insights into examples of good practice and encouraged the exchange of experiences regarding the challenges and opportunities related to the development of sustainable and smart agriculture.

Next Steps of the Project

Following the farm visit, the final session of the meeting was held, during which the partners reviewed the activities completed so far and defined the next steps for the implementation of the project.

The SMART CSA project aims to strengthen digital competences and develop innovative educational solutions that will contribute to a more sustainable, competitive, and technologically advanced agricultural sector, in line with current European priorities.
