In early April 2011, the Bačka Regional Development Agency signed an Operational Grant contract with the EU Delegation to the Republic of Serbia, titled “Operational Grant – Institutional support for development capacities of Regional Development Agency Backa,” which will provide institutional support for the agency’s capacity development.
The main objective of the project:
Stimulating and improving the sustainable economic and social development of the Bačka region. The planned activities within the aforementioned project aim to strengthen the Agency’s capacity in advance, as well as to improve the socio-economic development of the region as a whole.
The partners in implementing the project activities are the founders of RRA Bačka—namely, the 13 local self-government units from the Bačka region—as well as representatives of the civil and private sectors.
The project implementation period is 36 months (March 2011 – March 2014), and the total project value is EUR 312,500.00.
