Inclusion of Civil Society Organizations in climate and energy policy making, implementation and monitoring at local level

The Bačka Regional Development Agency, as a partner, is participating in the implementation of the project entitled “Inclusion of Civil Society Organizations in climate and energy policy making, implementation and monitoring at local level,” which is supported by the EU Delegation under the Civil Society Support program (EuropeAid/130847/L/ACT/RS).

The main objective of the project:

Development of energy strategies (plans) based on the model prescribed by the Covenant of Mayors, through greater public participation in strategy development and capacity building for civil society organizations in AP Vojvodina and Serbia that participate in the formulation of various development policies, which have an impact on the environment, and particularly on the development of local energy plans.

The project was submitted by CeSID (Center for Free Elections and Democracy), which is the project leader, while the project partners are the municipalities of Kula and Vrbas, as well as the CEKOR citizens’ association from Subotica.

The collaborators in the implementation of the aforementioned project are the Bačka Regional Development Agency, the SREM Regional Development Agency, and Vojvodina CESS.
