The Regional Development Agency Bačka, in partnership with the Provincial Secretariat for Labour, Employment and Gender Equality of the Government of AP Vojvodina, is implementing the project titled “Through Training to Employment (TTE): New Modules within the Educational Training Centre for Professional and Working Skills”, within the second call of the Regional Socio-Economic Development Programme 2 (RDEPR2).
The main objective of the project is to contribute to the creation of new employment opportunities in the territory of AP Vojvodina, to be achieved through the planned project activities, starting with capacity building of the Centre, organizing and delivering training and educational programmes for the project’s target groups, conducting analyses, promotional activities, as well as other planned project activities.
To more effectively achieve this goal, the Government of AP Vojvodina established the Educational Centre for Training in Professional and Working Skills, whose primary role is to reduce the consequences of slow changes in the education system and to enable training for specific educational profiles demanded by employers.
The project is led by the Provincial Secretariat for Labour, Employment and Gender Equality, while the project partners, in addition to RDA Bačka, include Vojvodina CES, the Regional Development Agency Srem, the Regional Centre for Socio-Economic Development Banat, the Educational Centre for Training in Professional and Working Skills, the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, the University of Novi Sad – Faculty of Technical Sciences, and the Higher Technical School of Professional Studies in Novi Sad.
The project was approved by the EU Delegation to the Republic of Serbia in 2010 and is currently in the implementation phase.
The total value of the project is EUR 576,784.00, and the implementation period is 24 months.
