The Bačka Regional Development Agency is implementing the project InnoCoop – Improving Policies to Foster Innovative Cooperation among Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Rural Areas, within the Interreg Europe programme.
Taking into account the diverse needs and challenges of rural areas, the project aims to develop better-adapted and territorially specific policies that will encourage greater activity among small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs operating in these areas.
In line with the project’s objectives, the Bačka Regional Development Agency is launching a survey to examine how companies, producers and regional stakeholders cooperate to modernise traditional sectors, as well as sectors based on local resources and regional characteristics.
We would like to understand how cooperation contributes to strengthening local value chains and creating added value in rural areas and smaller towns.
What do we mean by innovation?
In this survey, innovation is understood in a broad sense and is not limited to formal research and development. It may include:
- new or improved products and services;
- modern production methods;
- digital tools;
- green solutions;
- quality management systems;
- design and skills development;
- logistics and branding;
- market access;
- new forms of cooperation.
Which sectors does the survey cover?
The survey focuses on three traditional sectors selected by each InnoCoop project partner on the basis of an analysis of available data and sources conducted during the earlier stages of the project:
- the agri-food sector and food processing;
- manufacturing – metal, machinery, wood and furniture;
- rural, wine, cultural and spa tourism.
Invitation to participate
We invite you to complete the survey, share your experience and contribute to a better understanding of the needs and opportunities for cooperation in traditional sectors.
Your responses will help us to:
- validate the findings of the previously conducted regional analysis;
- map forms of cooperation and relationships within value chains;
- identify barriers and conditions that encourage cooperation;
- assess access to available support and partnerships;
- identify practical improvements to the regional support instrument.
The estimated time required to complete the survey is between 7 and 9 minutes.
All responses will be analysed exclusively in aggregate form and used solely for the purposes of the InnoCoop project, ensuring the confidentiality of your information.
