Project objective: The main objective of the energy.eu project is to enable the transition to a new model / framework of energy communities through a multidisciplinary approach based on an iterative social innovation methodology and evidence-based case analysis. This framework will connect citizens, markets, regulations, and technologies through the development and adaptation of social and flexible tools, the co-design of governance and business models for energy communities that provide economic, social, and environmental sustainability, as well as by encouraging the establishment of energy communities within existing administrative frameworks, accompanied by recommendations for regulatory improvements.
