Representatives of the Regional Development Agency Bačka participated in the Interregional Workshop and Partner Meeting of the InnoCoop project, held from 16 to 18 June 2026 in Białystok, Poland. The event was hosted by the Podlaskie Voivodeship and brought together project partners and relevant stakeholders from several European regions to exchange experiences and share good practices in the fields of innovation, research, and development.
The first day was dedicated to the partner meeting, during which the project’s ongoing activities, the results of the research carried out so far, and the next implementation steps were presented. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening regional innovation ecosystems and enhancing cooperation between businesses, research institutions, and the public sector.
As part of the study visits, participants had the opportunity to visit several successful companies and development initiatives across the Podlaskie region. Good practice examples were presented in the fields of metal processing, biotechnology, food production, agricultural machinery, and creative entrepreneurship, along with support models for innovation and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Particular attention was given to successful examples of cooperation between businesses and research institutions, as well as to the activities of clusters and development organizations that contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the regional economy. Participants also explored innovative approaches in research and development, digitalisation, and business internationalisation.
