General objective of the project:

Development of a modern, efficient, and transparent local government through the application of adequate information and communication technologies necessary for achieving the sustainable development of all segments of the local community.

The expected results of the project are:

Defined role and place of the LER office within the municipal administration, adapted office space for the LER, office equipment procured – furniture, computer and other technical equipment procured, networked with all relevant sectors of the municipal administration, knowledge level assessed, necessary training identified and developed, up to 3 local government employees trained, who will form the future municipal project team around the new Office for Local Economic Development of the Municipality of Bački Petrovac – enhanced capacities for the functional preparation and implementation of development strategies and projects, a defined monitoring and evaluation system.

The Municipality of Bački Petrovac, and the partner in implementing the project activities is the Bačka Regional Development Agency.
