BIOPRO Regions: Study Visit and Hybrid Seminar in Bečej – Register to Participate

The Municipality of Bečej and the Regional Development Agency Bačka will host a study visit on 6 and 7 October 2026, as part of the BIOPRO Regions project, supported by the Interreg Europe programme.

The two-day study visit will bring together project partners, representatives of public institutions, experts, practitioners and other relevant stakeholders to exchange knowledge and experience in sustainable food production, local and regional products, short supply chains and sustainable regional development.

The visit will showcase local examples, initiatives and experiences, alongside discussions on opportunities to develop more sustainable food systems and strengthen local economies.

Hybrid Seminar: “Sustainable Food Production & European Green Deal”

The event will include a hybrid seminar entitled “Sustainable Food Production & European Green Deal”, taking place on 6 October 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m.

The seminar will provide an opportunity to learn about experiences and good practices from different European regions and to discuss how successful solutions can be adapted and implemented in different local and regional contexts. Particular emphasis will be placed on sustainable food production and approaches that contribute to the objectives of the European Green Deal.
