The Online Training of Trainers (ToT) on the developed digital platform and virtual marketplace for promoting hybrid heating and cooling systems based on shallow geothermal energy was successfully held on 19 January 2026, led by the project partner Danube GeoHeCo – FB (Forschung Burgenland GmbH).
The session was attended by partners of the Danube GeoHeCo project, who were introduced to the objectives and key functionalities of the digital platform being developed within Activity 3.2. Particular emphasis was placed on its role as a central hub for connecting supply- and demand-side stakeholders, facilitating knowledge exchange, and supporting the development of the market for hybrid heating and cooling systems.
Participants were familiarized with the concept of the platform, its planned functionalities, and the involvement of relevant stakeholders in the design and testing process, highlighting its contribution to sharing project results and integrating innovative technologies.
The training also strengthened the role of trainers in future capacity-building activities in the field of hybrid heating and cooling systems based on shallow geothermal energy.
