The Regional Development Agency of Bačka (RRA Bačka), within the project “Promotion of energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources in the Bačka region”, which is implemented in cooperation with the German Organization for International Cooperation – GIZ, provides support in the establishment of the Energy Consulting Center in the municipality of Bačka Palanka.

In accordance with the planned activities within the project, RRA Bačka acquired the appropriate office (IT) equipment, and the final works on the branding of the Center are currently underway. The goal of the Center is to provide relevant information to citizens at the local level in the coming period about opportunities and support measures in the field of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. In this context, it is planned to hold information days (education) for citizens on the mentioned topic, in three local governments in the Bačka region.

The project “Promotion of energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources in the Backa region” aims to support the green transition in the Backa region through more efficient and sustainable use of renewable energy sources.

The planned period of project implementation is from August 1, 2024 to October 31, 2025, and the total budget is EUR 84,399.20.
