Project Objective: The main objective of the energy.eu project is to enable the transition to a new model/framework of energy communities through a multidisciplinary approach based on an iterative social innovation methodology and evidence-based case study analysis. This framework will connect citizens, markets, regulations, and technologies through the development and adaptation of social and flexible tools, co-design of governance and business models for energy communities that provide economic, social, and environmental sustainability, and encouragement of the establishment of energy communities within current administrative frameworks with recommendations for regulatory improvement.
